City receives $2.7 million grant from EDA

    Last Friday, the U.S. Department of Economic Development Administration formally announced the City of Perryton as the recipient of a $2.7 million grant from the EDA.

    The announcement was made by Jorge Ayala, regional director of the U.S. EDA fromAustin, in the 100 block of Main Street, which received heavy damage in last year’s tornado.
