Ed Montana did not disappoint. We all didn’t get a song dedicated to us like Phyllis Price did, but we still really enjoyed his choice of songs. I especially loved watching people singing along when one of their faves was played.

The Jennie June Club met Sept. 10 at the Senior Citizen Center for lunch.Frances Aston, president, welcomed members to the beginning of the club’s new year. During roll call, everyone shared their middle name. The collect was recited, and a short business meeting was held.

Ochiltree County Commissioners have officially hired a new Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agent. Marcus Preuninger previously earned his bachelors degree in agriculture from West Texas A&M University and his Masters degree at Kansas State University.
