Kelly Nickel of Redding, CA will continue the Leadership Perryton XXIV speaker series on Thursday, Jan. 8.Nickel will entertain with a thought provoking and inspiring session, “Small Things Make A Difference” at Frank Phillips College Allen Campus in Perryton.Registration begins at 6 p.m.

Filing will open in two weeks for candidates seeking positions in three different elections.Candidate filing begins Wednesday, Jan. 14 for positions up for election on the Perryton City Council, Perryton ISD Board of Trustees and the Ochiltree County Hospital District.

Rifle and Pistol Club sets monthly meeting The Perryton Rifle and Pistol Club will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m. at the indoor range south of the Ochiltree County Expo Building. The club will be discussing new and ongoing projects, as well as electing new officers.
