Rifle and Pistol Club sets monthly meeting The Perryton Rifle and Pistol Club will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at the indoor range south of the Ochiltree County Expo Building. The club will be discussing new and ongoing projects.

County approves ICE agreement for grant

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday morning at the Ochiltree County Courthouse.Among other items on the agenda, the commissioners approved a memorandum of agreement between the Sheriff’s Office and ICE in order to apply for a Senate Bill 8 grant.

On Feb. 18, 2026, the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Department had outstanding warrants on the following people: Rosa Perez-Lucero, no personal information was available. Last known address was El Paso. There is one misdemeanor warrant for Perez-Lucero for issuance of bad checks.
RETTES WIN BI-DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP— Perryton schools participated in a send-off for the Perryton Rettes basketball team on Monday morning as the team headed off for the playoffs. The Rettes defeated Fort Stockton 58-41 Monday night in Lubbock to win the Bi-District Championship. They’ll play El Paso’s Harmony Science Academy Friday at 4 p.m. in Lamesa for the Area Championship.
