PHS Theatre to perform play

Perryton High School’s Theatre Department will hold public performances of “The Lights Are Warm and Coloured,” the PHS entry for the UIL One Act Play competition.Performances will be held at the PHS auditorium on Saturday, March 21, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 22, at 3 p.m.

City’s sales tax payment drops

The City of Perryton took a substantial hit in its March sales tax payment.The city received $202,093, some 11% less than last March. For the year so far, however, its year to date payments of $768,493 are up 2%.Most area cities had decreases as well, but a few did notch increases.

City to begin new gas contract negotiations

The Perryton City Council met Tuesday for their regular meeting.The council approved a resolution to amend the order of the general election.
