The Perryton ISD’s proposition and Republicans dominated Ochiltree County election returns in the Nov. 5 election.
A total of 3,020 county voters cast ballots, 58% of registered voters.
The PISD’s Proposition A was overwhelmingly passed, 1,977 votes for to 849 against.
The proposition was to “increase” the district’s tax rate to $1.0255, but it will actually stay the same.
