PJH holds rally to celebrate academic improvements
A TRIBUTE TO TEACHERS AND STUDENTS Perryton Junior High held a pep rally Monday to celebrate the school’s improved academic status, as it earned an official “Acceptable” rating from the Texas Education Agency. Teachers and students at PJH were congratulated by PISD administration staff, school board members, and representatives from TEA and the Region 16 Service Center. A few years ago, after a low “Improvement Required” rating on the STAAR test, PJH was placed on a two-year improvement plan by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to bring the school’s performance up.
