The funeral service for Pvt. Waldean Black, a Perryton resident killed 80 years ago in the attack on Pearl Harbor, was held Thursday afternoon at the Ochiltree County Cemetery. Black, a United States Marine who served on the battleship USS Oklahoma, was laid to rest with full military honors near the graves of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tyson E. Black.
