The City of Perryton’s sales tax payment for August showed a slight drop, though area cities were a mixed bag for the month.
The city received $282,587 for the month, which was 4% less than August 2023. For the year, its $2.03 million in payments are up just 0.12%.
Amarillo and Booker were the only area cities to see an increase in August.
