Candidate filing opens soon for positions on the Perryton School Board and Perryton City Council.
The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, Jan. 18. The filing period will run through Friday, Feb. 17, at 5 p.m.
There are three position up for election on the city council. They are currently held by council members Marcia Hale, Brad Kile and Shae Cunningham.
