The first half of 2021 was again dominated by COVID-19, as well as several severe weather events.
Perryton was hit by a once in a generation winter storm in February. Ochiltree County contended with snow and bone-chilling cold for several days.
The storm affected most of Texas as well, but our area escaped extended power outages and other issues that plagued the southern part of the state.
