4-H AMBASSADORS— Ochiltree County 4-H recently elected their new Ambassadors for 2022-23. 4-H Ambassadors help promote Ochiltree 4-H in the community, through a number of events and projects, including the Wheatheart Celebration parade, Family Fun Nights, 4-H recruitment nights, the county junior livestock show and sale, and more. An incident of a reckless driver and a fraud case were investigated by police during the week.
On Oct. 23, around 7:20 p.m. the Perryton Police Department responded to a call about a one vehicle accident in the 200 block of NE Loop 143.
During the on-scene investigation, it was determined the 25-year-old driver was traveling northbound in a 2000 Chevy Tahoe in a reckless manner.
